Randy J. Stowe


AUBURN - Randy J. Stowe, 54, of Auburn passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at his home. He was born in Lewiston on January 11, 1956, the son of Norman L. and Ruth Small Stowe. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1976. He married Tammy McNally on April 4, 1981. He worked in the maintenance department at Waste Management for 25 years, Pine Tree Waste for five years and three years at Hammond Lumber.
     He was a member of the East Auburn Baptist Church and the color guard of the Sons of AMVETS Post #6. He enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, boating, dancing, four-wheeling and snowmobiling.
     He loved life and making people laugh, camping and spending time with his family, especially his three granddaughters, who knew him as “Papa”. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, including his dog Jasmine.
     Mr. Stowe is survived by his wife of Auburn; two daughters, Katie and her companion Joe Valente of West Paris and Amy and her companion Brent Worrey of Auburn; his mother Ruth of Auburn; a brother, Dennis and his wife Sharon of Castlerock, CO; three granddaughters, Sara and Emily Maines and Angelina Valente; his mother-in-law, Sylvia McNally and her companion Carl Roberts; many family and friends; his AMVET family and special friends at Pine Tree Waste. He was predeceased by his father; a brother, Rick; father-in-law, Howard McNally and special brother-in-law, Christopher McNally. On-line condolences may be shared with his family at

     Funeral services were held on Monday, July 19 at the East Auburn Baptist Church, Park Avenue in Auburn, followed by interment at Pine Street Cemetery in Auburn. Family and friends attended visitation on Sunday at Weston-Chandler Funeral Home, 26 W. Dwinal St., Mechanic Falls. Remembrance donations can be made to the AMVETS Post #6 in New Gloucester.
