POLAND – Each year the Maine Golf Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding individuals who are players, contributors to or promoters the game of golf.
2010 Norway Triathlon Another Success
NORWAY – The 2010 Norway Triathlon, run on July 10, attracted athletes from 12 states, Maine to California, and drew many generations of competitors, ages 18 to 69. While the sanctioned event attracted top triathletes, it also included a diverse range of competitors. Forty competitors were over 50; and 12 were over 60. An award was presented to a local relay team whose members are 67, 68 and 69 years young.
