SOUTH PARIS - Ethan Davidson, Kyle Farrar, Andrew Keniston and Carly Taylor, students at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, have been named to the KVAC Class A Boys' Basketball All Academic Team.

Fox Named to KVAC First Team South
SOUTH PARIS - Lindsay Fox, a student at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, has been named to the KVAC Class A Girls' Basketball All Conference First Team-South.

Bates College to Hold Pre-Season Clinics
LEWISTON - Bates College will be hosting two one-day high school advanced preseason clinics on Saturday and Sunday, March 6 and 7. On March 6, there will be a pitchers and catchers clinic from 2 to 5 p.m. Pitchers will be able to refine their skills while learning new drills for the upcoming season. The catchers will be taken through a practice that is conducted at Bates College while also learning new skills and drills.

Motocross Banquet & Awards
LEWISTON - The Maine Motocross Series Banquet was held at the Ramada Inn on Saturday, February 13. Sullivan Poland of West Paris and Dylan Campbell of Hebron raced in the Maine Motocross Series 50 cc Open & 7-9 Class for the Spring & Fall 2009.

NPFG Fishing Derby
NORWAY - The Norway-Paris Fish & Game Association annual Fishing Derby was held February 27 and 28. Derby chair Jim Alberi said that although the finial numbers were not ready Sunday afternoon, the derby was very successful this year. Several people gathered at the Little Red School House on Norway Lake at sunset Sunday for the announcement of winning fish and the drawing of consolation prizes as well as the 50/50.
